Types Of Hand Presses

When choosing a press, try to use a multi-purpose device. The press used varies with the diameter of the workpiece being corrected. When correcting smaller and longer workpieces, a manual press is often used. The manual press has a simple structure and is easy to operate. It is divided into a rack type and a screw type. Figure 1 shows the structure of a manual press. (a) in the figure is a rack type manual press. Its working pressure is generally 1-5 tons, and it is often used to correct workpieces with a diameter of 5-10 mm. (b) in the figure is a screw type manual press. Its working pressure is generally 2-25 tons, and it is often used to correct workpieces with a diameter of 10-30 mm. The manual press has low production efficiency and low pressure.
